Chicago Inspired Wedding of Natalie and Dmitri was a perfection
Bride and groom spent the night at the London House hotel what gave them a stress free wedding morning. Amazing Chicago views and great lighting made getting ready an unforgettable experience and gave us the opportunity to take gorgeous photos and videos. Not to mention the bride was wearing a Lovely girl robe. Always stunning!
After makeup & hair were done, flowers have arrived and the dress was put on, the first look happened. They did it in the middle of the Chicago river bridge at Wabash Avenue. They both confessed to be anxious until they finally met. After that the stress seemed to go away and only joy could have been seen on their faces.
The traditional church ceremony took place at St Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church. After some portraits there, the bridal party jumped into a limo and headed to downtown.
Our first stop was Milton Lee Olive Park by the Navy Pier. It opens amazing views of the Chicago skyline accompanied by Michigan waves and wind. Cause what kind of Chicago wedding isn’t windy? Also, we took Natalie & Dmitri’s engagement photos at the Navy Pier, so the location had a special meaning for them too.
Next stop - Wabash Ave bridge, yeap the same they did their first look at. That location speaks for itself. It has great views both ways, Michigan Ave is just a walking distance from it as well as the Trump Tower. The pictures and videos from any angle at that location would tell the story of two souls in the big city.
Crowds, wind, traffic and direct sun could be obstacles for such weddings shots. But if that’s something your couple is willing to do, just plan accordingly and do it!
As you can see, it’s totally worth it!
